Anne Kazel-Wilcox
Anne Kazel-Wilcox is President of Gold Coast
Communications, having founded the firm in 1997. Ms. Kazel has over 20 years' experience
in public relations, investment banking, real estate and commercial banking.
She was previously a Managing Director at Principal Communications in New York, the corporate
and financial public relations subsidiary of Grey Advertising, the largest advertising firm in
New York City. Ms. Kazel worked at Principal for eight years, where she was one of three
Managing Directors overseeing all operations of the firm. She personally controlled
approximately one third of the firms' revenues and generated significant new business.
Ms. Kazel was highly regarded as one of the premier public relations experts in her field
of expertise.
Before that, Ms. Kazel worked at Salomon Brothers, First Boston and Bear Stearns. The various
departments she worked for included Capital Markets for Financial Institutions, Asset-Liability
Management Resource Group, Mortgage Loan Trading and Institutional Fixed Income Sales.
Ms. Kazel began her career in banking, with focus on the money management and commercial lending areas.
She graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Business in 1980, where she was a scholarship
recipient and also completed a portion of her M.B.A. studies. In addition, Ms. Kazel received a
certificate in Special Event Marketing from the University's School of Continuing Education.
Ms. Kazel is a volunteer with the American Red Cross in Disaster Services and on its Speaker's Bureau.
She is also a Certified scuba diving instructor with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
